I started this blog Livejournal quite casually, just posting short summaries of books I’d read for my existing online friends, with no concept of trying to build an audience. It’s rather astounding to find myself still here 20 years later, still not great at self-promotion, but with a broader audience, more in-depth reviews, and having discovered so many like-minded people through book blogging and the Cybils Awards! Thank you so much to all of you who make up this book-loving community!

20 Thumbs up!
Thank you!
so glad you started your blog and I got to meet you!!
I’m glad I got to meet you, too!
Happy 20th! I’m so glad you’re still blogging.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations and happy 20th blogoversary! That’s a pretty good achievement! How many reviews have you posted over that time? Will you you celebrate by re-posting a few reviews from what was big 20 years ago… 🙂 (subtle hint!)
Thank you, Valinora!! That is a good idea. I don’t know for sure how many reviews I’ve posted, as I did more personal posts back in the Livejournal era, and many of the posts have more than one review. I also can’t go back to see which posts were most popular on Livejournal and Dreamwidth. But I could go back and repost the ones that have been most popular in the decade I’ve been on WordPress.
I’d love to see them (if you get time to pick out a few!) 🙂
Thanks, Valinora! That’s very kind!
Happy blogiversary! 🥳 What an exciting milestone. Your steady reviewing of middle grade fiction is inspiring. (I agree with Valinora – would be neat to see some of your most popular reviews over the years. 😁)
Aww!! Thank you so much, Jenna!
Congratulations 🎊
Thank you so much!
